(Chapter - 1) Unit II Artificial Neural Networks Fundamentals : Biological Neurons and Artificial neural network, model of artificial neuron. Neural Network Architectures, Neural Network models : Perceptron, Adaline, and Madaline networks; single layer network; Back propagation and multi-layer networks. Learning Methods : Hebbian, competitive, Boltzman etc., Competitive learning networks : Kohonenself-organizing networks, Hebbian learning; Hopfield Networks.
